Volunteer Positions
Summer swim team, like most childhood sporting opportunities, requires the time, hard work, and dedication of parents. Your work is valued and appreciated. Our kids would not have the wonderful experience that is Whitehurst Swimming, without you all. In advance, thank you for all that you do.
All families must volunteer for a job at 4 meets (and 1 event) (or 5 meets). Sign Up Genius will be utilized for this purpose. Signing up for specific jobs, at specific meets will be on a first come, first served basis for most volunteer roles. Certain roles require specific training and may be filled in advance.
In addition to meet volunteering, Sign Up Genius will also be utilized to allow parents to volunteer to help organize and run various events, such as the Pep Rally, Swim-a-thon, and Team Banquet.
***Jobs required to work a medal meet are not part of the above-mentioned requirements, and must be filled by the families of swimmers participating in the medal meets. During years that we are selected by the league to HOST a medal meet, it requires a GREAT DEAL MORE participation and volunteering. Think...all hands on deck...for those years. So, thanks in advance!

After signing up for your jobs, please record your jobs on your registration form. All 3 forms, and fees are due on May 2nd at the clubhouse or to Ali Mikeska's house by May 7.
